Biography
Chasson Gracie is a 10-time award-winning marketer and brings over a decade of strategic marketing experience to the table and has worked with powerhouse marketing communication firms. Chasson, a New York native who has also lived in Toronto and San Francisco, has been a brand fanatic since he was 7 years-old, which lead to a firm belief in the importance of art, commerce and technology and its ability to greatly impact culture.
Chasson earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Urban Policy, concentrating in Urban Policy Analysis and Quantitative Methods, from the New School University and has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in History with Honors from Brooklyn College. Chasson became one of the strategic and research leaders for the 2010 Census Campaign, and helped steer the campaign to become one of the most successful campaigns of 2010, reaching a participation rate of 74% (goal was 67%) and saving the government $1.9 billion, along with seeing nearly 100% engagement with the campaign.
Chasson is the founder and CEO of Gracie Management, which helps musicians with strategic planning and statistically modeling. The company brings science to a field that has long survived just on gut decisions, which in many cases have damaged careers. Gracie Management is powered by Science and Art, leading to smarter campaigns, promotions and platforms.
In addition, Gracie Management also Chasson is currently the Head of Strategic Planning for the New York office of Dieste, the only three-time Ad Age Multicultural Ad Agency of the Year. Chasson, in addition, to his general market experience, now brings his multicultural expertise to campaigns to clients such as Nissan, Infiniti, Don Julio and Jose Cuervo.
Artists/companies he has worked with include Universal Music Group, Athlete (Ivor Novello Award Winners and Number One UK Album), Scene Writers, composer Ponzy, etc. Chasson brings a keen understanding of music, the current musical landscape and technology, which makes him a standout in the field.
